His older
brother Lee, a petty thief and drifter, has just arrived from the
desert and plans to break into some houses in the
neighborhood. Their roles
strangely change when Saul Kimmer, a Hollywood producer, enters the
stage: Coming to talk about Austins new script, Saul Kimmer gets to
know Lee, who suddenly bursts in with a stolen television set. During
a round of golf Lee persuades Saul to produce a screenplay of his
own

about "two lamebrains chasing each
other across Texas". Soon
Austin, getting drunk, talks about living in the desert, while
Lee tries to write his screenplay. The situation escalates when
Austin follows Lee' s footsteps and steals all toasters in the
neighborhood, plus
toast, and Lee smashes the tyewriter with his golfclub. You will
not be surprised that no plant will
